Buyer's Choice Award - Museum Store Association

Buyer's Choice Award - Museum Store Association

I recently attended the Museum Store Association conference ‘MSA Forward’ in Baltimore, and I’m excited to announce that my 'Break the Glass Ceiling' earrings won a Buyer’s Choice Award! As a first-time attendee, this recognition was a true honor (and total surprise!).

I'm delighted to share that I received orders from institutions nationwide, from Hawaii to Miami! I've expanded into new markets like Denver, Kalamazoo, and multiple locations in Ohio, with my reach now extending to aviation and science institutions.

A special shout out to the Mint Museum in Charlotte, NC (my home state) where you can now find Bold Standard jewelry!

PARTY PEOPLE

MSA knows how to blend business with pleasure.

Highlights of the conference included a memorable party on the USS Constellation. This historic ship played a significant role in capturing slave trade ships and training seamen, making the evening both enlightening and enjoyable.

Another highlight was visiting the American Visionary Art Museum, which specializes in “outsider art”. It’s a funky and joyous place. In addition to an inspiring art collection, the museum store was the MOST FUN shopping experiences I’ve had in years.

They sell local art and worldly treasures. You can find vintage dead-stock and small gems hidden tiny drawers—Amy Sedaris is supposedly a fan of those. ;)

The merchandise was fascinating, and the staff was top-notch. I couldn't resist this vintage Cleopatra Halloween mask.

MSA Forward was a great experience. Thanks the the museum store community for their support!
